What is Capital Cares?
Our commitment to the neighbours & the local causes that matter most to Kanata and Stittsville.
For 22 years, we have given back where we can. Capital Cares makes it official with a set of formal initiatives, built to grow as we grow, so our support for Kanata and Stittsville keeps getting stronger, season after season.
We believe every great local business should take good care of the people it impacts. Our customers, our colleagues, and our community. As Ottawa's first living-wage snow and lawn care company, that belief is already how we work. Capital Cares is simply where it reaches past our own team and out into the whole neighbourhood.
And it all stays close to home. Every event we sponsor and every neighbour we help is right here in Kanata and Stittsville. This is direct support for the community we live and work in. Local, just like us.

Here are some of the other initiatives we are bringing to the community this season.
THIS FALL
Bottle Drive & Food Drive
We are teaming up for Jack's Mission to a Million with a bottle drive, alongside a food drive for the Kanata Food Cupboard and Stittsville Food Bank. On a few dates this fall, our team will come around to collect your empties and non-perishable food items and deliver them where they are needed most. More info on pick-up dates coming soon.
THIS WINTER
SNOWSUIT & WINTER GEAR DRIVE
No child should go cold this winter. This winter, we are collecting snowsuits and winter gear for the Snowsuit Fund. Drop your new or gently used gear in the bin at our office any time during the winter season.
BUILT TO GROW WITH US
Capital Cares is a long-term promise, not a one-time gesture. As Capital Services grows, so does what we can give back. We are already looking ahead to a year-round community fund and summer lawn clean-ups for overgrown properties by nomination, so a neighbour who needs a hand can find one in every season.
